A very cool new Catholic app

How amazingly cool is this? A lot of you will have a version of the Breviary on your phones (a bit like the one on the corner of the blog page probably) but now there's a version of the old breviary (from 1962) available...and it's free!

On my laptop I have a very complicated program that includes the older offices (which are all in Latin of course) but this is far more straight forward. The settings screen allows for a side-by-side English translation and lets you play around with the usual things like text sizes. It updates daily so all you have to do is switch it on! I've had a go...it's well cool!

Fr. Z has a much more in depth review on his blog here. Search the iPhone app store for 'Breviarium Meum' and it should pop up!

Do you know http://divinumofficium.com/ by Laszlo Kiss, which gives *all* the old forms of the Breviary with Latin and English (and Hungarian if you are so minded). I've given Laszlo the odd bit of help with some of the obscurer points of the 1570 version!
